Students attend three or four days a week in small classes with a 10:2 student-teacher ratio for grades Pre-K4-3 and a 12:1 student-teacher ratio for grades 4-12. With a family setting, your child receives individualized attention in a caring, loving environment.

Students are offered plenty of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and interesting assignments to appeal to every type of learner. Curriculum

Our experienced teachers work diligently to create lesson plans, activities, and assignments that appeal to learners of all types. This allows each teacher to create a curriculum based on the needs of the students in the class. Achievement is of utmost importance and assessed through projects, class discussions, visuals, experiments, homework assignments, exams and more. Our textbooks are purchased through reputable publishers; however, our curriculum is not necessarily aligned with Common Core Standards.

All students take classes in the four core subjects: ELA, math, social studies, and science. We also offer a variety of electives during and outside our normal school hours. Study skills are an integral part of every class and are taught throughout the year.

Students are regularly offered the opportunity to participate in field trips. Places we have recently visited include Mrs. Heather’s Strawberry Patch, the World War II Museum, and Mardi Gras World. We always welcome new ideas for field trips from friends and parents.

Private Tutoring

Our private tutors will give your child the one-on-one attention they may need to catch up or move to the next level in whatever subject they may be struggling with. We offer math tutoring, English tutoring, Spanish tutoring, and more.

Hourly rate - $45.
